Yesterday we went to botanical garden to learn about native trees. First we had to wait at school for a little while. Then it was time to get on the bus. My grandma came with me and my friends. My grandma went in Maia’s mum’s car to get to botanical garden. So we were there and when we got there we ate same morning tea. Then group 1 went for a walk to learn about native trees. The trees that we saw were called Puriri, Totara and Kowhai trees. Kowhai tree had yellow flowers growing. After lunch we went for the trail to get information about native trees. When we finished we went back to get our bags. Then we came back on the bus to get back to school. It was the best day ever.

In the Holidays I went to Whitianga with my dad,mum,brother and my cousins and there mum and dad and it was
3 hours and me and my brother were listening to his Mp3 player. When we were on the road it was swirly and then
we stopped for a break and we were nearly there we were at a play ground and we played for a while. When we got
subway we went to the beach but the wind blew my drink away we also played on the play ground every day. We
also played ping pong and the adults played also and my dad won one and i was happy. We also went fishing
